Design and Installation
There was a time when networks were
reserved only for large companies with huge IT budgets and support departments
to match. Not any more. Installing a home or small business network is not as
expensive as you may think, and offers several advantages:

For internal networks
security isn't such an issue, but you should be aware that the moment your
network is connected to the outside world you are at risk from malicious
intruders. In fact your cable or DSL provider will usually recommend that you
disable all file and printer sharing to reduce your risk. Mentor
